Job summary

Reactive Driving Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Finance Manager for a Tipton-based, part-time role with 3 days per week. You will own the finance function, work closely with senior leadership and investors, and provide key financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decisions.

You will manage day-to-day finance operations, including P&L reporting, cash flow, VAT and payroll processes, and ensure accurate records with Sage. ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Experienced finance professional with ownership mindset.
• Proven ability to produce weekly and monthly financial reporting.
• Strong Sage experience; VAT, payroll, reconciliations and cash flow knowledge.
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance function and support the wider office team.
• Prepare weekly and monthly P&L reports and financial analysis.
• Complete bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.
• Manage debtor accounts and support credit control activities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and investor reports.
• Handle VAT returns and support payroll processes.
• Ensure financial compliance and maintain accurate records.
• Use Sage to ensure timely reporting.
• Provide financial insight to senior management.
• Work closely with investors and senior leadership on financial performance.

We are working with a growing business in Tipton who are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager on a 3-day-per-week basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a hands‑on role within a growing business, taking ownership of the finance function while working closely with senior leadership and investors to support key business decisions.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations, producing accurate financial reporting and providing valuable financial insight to support the continued success of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Managing the day‑to‑day finance function and supporting the wider office team

About you

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is confident working independently and taking ownership of a finance function.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Strong and demonstrable Sage experience
• Proven experience preparing management accounts and financial reports
• Good knowledge of VAT, payroll, reconciliations and cash flow
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Confidence communicating financial information to senior leadership
• The ability to work collaboratively and provide support and guidance to colleagues
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ideally, a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
