Job summary

Reactive Driving Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a part-time role in Tipton. The role covers day-to-day finance operations with ownership of the function and close collaboration with senior leadership.

You will produce timely financial reporting, forecast cash flow, manage VAT and payroll, and support investors with monthly management accounts. Flexible 3-day week and on-site parking in a fast-growing business.

Qualifications

• Experience using Sage for financial reporting and month-end close.
• Proven ability to prepare management accounts and investor reports.
• Good knowledge of VAT, payroll, reconciliations and cash flow.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Confident communicating financial information to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance function and support the wider office team.
• Prepare weekly and monthly P&L reports and analyses.
• Complete bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.
• Manage debtor accounts and support credit control activities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and investor reports.
• Handle VAT returns and support payroll processes.
• Ensure financial compliance and maintain accurate records.
• Use Sage to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to support senior management.
• Work closely with investors and senior leadership on financial performance.
• Support and guide members of the wider team where required.

Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a part-time opportunity where you can have real ownership and make a genuine impact?

We are working with a growing business in Tipton who are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager on a 3-day-per-week basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a hands‑on role within a growing business, taking ownership of the finance function while working closely with senior leadership and investors to support key business decisions.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations, producing accurate financial reporting and providing valuable financial insight to support the continued success of the business.

Key responsibilities

About you

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is confident working independently and taking ownership of a finance function.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Strong and demonstrable Sage experience
• Proven experience preparing management accounts and financial reports
• Good knowledge of VAT, payroll, reconciliations and cash flow
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Confidence communicating financial information to senior leadership
• The ability to work collaboratively and provide support and guidance to colleagues
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ideally, a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
