Job summary

Reactive Driving Recruitment is seeking a Finance Manager for a part-time role in Tipton. The successful candidate will take ownership of the finance function, reporting to senior leadership and investors, and balancing hands-on financial management with strategic insight.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day finance operations, producing weekly and monthly P&L and management accounts, cash flow forecasting, VAT and payroll support, and delivering timely, accurate financial reporting

Qualifications

• Strong and demonstrable Sage experience.
• Proven experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Good knowledge of VAT, payroll, reconciliations and cash flow.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence communicating financial information to senior leadership.
• The ability to work collaboratively and provide support to colleagues.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

• Completing bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.
• Managing debtor accounts and supporting credit control activities.
• Preparing monthly management accounts and investor reports.

• Ensuring financial compliance and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Using Sage to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Providing financial insight and analysis to support senior management.
• Working closely with investors and senior leadership on financial performance.
• Supporting and guiding members of the wider team where required.

We are working with a growing business in Tipton who are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager on a 3-day-per-week basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on role within a growing business, taking ownership of the finance function while working closely with senior leadership and investors to support key business decisions.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations, producing accurate financial reporting and providing valuable financial insight to support the continued success of the business.

About you

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is confident working independently and taking ownership of a finance function.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Strong and demonstrable Sage experience

• Good knowledge of VAT, payroll, reconciliations and cash flow


• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Confidence communicating financial information to senior leadership


• The ability to work collaboratively and provide support and guidance to colleagues

• Ideally, a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
