Salary: GBP65000 - GBP75000 per annum + bens

Finance Manager – Up to £75,000 – Peterborough – 6 month contract

My client, a large real estate company based in Peterborough, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract to oversee management and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience in industry.

Main responsibilities:

1. Production of budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts
2. Completion of regular weekly and monthly management information related to joint ventures
3. Monitor performance against management plans to ensure results, trends, and risks are clearly understood and communicated
4. Control of joint venture overheads and raising of accruals, prepayments, and relevant journals
5. Raising ad hoc sales invoices
6. Raising purchase orders and coding invoices for relevant joint venture overhead costs
7. Maintain and update the joint ventures' financial systems and assist in their development
8. Ad hoc reporting and generation of information to support joint venture activities
9. Provide general support to the team as required
