A growing SME retail and wholesale business in Oldbury is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee accounts, payroll, and financial management. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on accountant with SME experience, offering a salary of £40,000-£50,000 and benefits including home working and pension.
Finance Manager for an SME retail and wholesale business in Oldbury. The company is planning strong growth over the next 4 years and has created a new Finance Manager position.
Reporting to the FD, you will manage the full spectrum of accounts, including month-end, VAT, management accounts, and will oversee a small payroll on a weekly and monthly basis. This is a hands-on, all-round role focusing on both financial and management accounts, ledgers, and credit control. Additional responsibilities include stock control, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
This role suits a QBE or qualified hands-on accountant, either from a small accountancy practice or industry. The role requires someone from an SME background who is adaptable and willing to be hands-on. Strong presentation and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to use initiative and work independently.
A salary between £40,000-£50,000, plus one day of home working, pension, parking, and the opportunity to join a very stable company.
