Searcys are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Finance Manager to join our team. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our catering and client services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations. This role will be based in a B&I contract.

Job Details

Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £38,000

Job Responsibilities

• Managing all financial aspects of a contract
• Operating in-unit bookkeeping systems: processing/querying daily purchase invoices and credit notes, daily reconciliation of revenues & takings, balancing cash office, calculating stock transfers, waste reports, and closing weekly accounting periods
• Submitting weekly paperwork to the central office
• Maintaining accrual-specific documents
• Delivering monthly, quarterly, and yearly client reporting for Cost Plus contracts
• Client stock reconciliation and reporting
• Creating client-specific analytical reports
• Preparing and posting monthly accruals and journals
• Revising and submitting P&L statements
• Issuing monthly client invoices with backup documentation
• Producing quarterly client reports
• Budgeting and reconciling balance sheets for clients and Searcys
• Managing weekly payroll

Qualifications

• Management accounting experience preferred
• Ability to work with and analyze large data sets
• Experience in a multi-site retail or food service/catering environment is essential
• Motivated, self-starter with proactive approach
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong commercial mindset
