Job summary

MediaTroopers in Douglas is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations for a fast-growing digital marketing agency. You will manage accounting, reporting, cash flow, and controls from a hands-on perspective.

Lead a small team, liaise with auditors and tax advisors, and ensure accurate financial statements. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and strong Excel/QuickBooks skills are required, with digital marketing or iGaming experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
• Experience in digital marketing, media, or iGaming industries is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of accuracy under pressure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. Based in our Douglas office, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition
• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and corporate service providers
• Manage a team
• Take care of collection
• Maintain relationships with banks
• Oversee financial systems and recommend improvements where necessary
