Job summary

Hireroo is seeking a Finance Manager for an on-site role in Douglas. You will oversee day-to-day accounting, lead the finance team and ensure accurate reporting across monthly, quarterly and annual cycles.

Ideal candidates have 2-3+ years in senior accounting, with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. Strong knowledge of taxation, financial controls, and relationship management with banks and auditors is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• 2-3+ years in Finance Manager or senior accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and taxation.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Excel or similar systems.
• Experience in digital marketing, iGaming, or international business advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, billing, general ledger and revenue recognition.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Oversee collections and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisers and service providers.
• Lead and support the finance team.
• Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting and tax requirements.
• Oversee financial systems and identify process/reporting improvements.

Responsibilities:

As a Finance Manager, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, billing, general ledger, and revenue recognition

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

• Oversee collections and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners

• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and corporate service providers

• Lead and support the finance team

• Maintain appropriate financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant accounting and tax requirements

• Oversee financial systems and identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

• 2-3+ years of experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior accounting role

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation

• Experience with QuickBooks and Excel or similar accounting systems

• Experience in digital marketing, media, iGaming, or another fast-paced international business would be an advantage, but not essential. If you are an experienced finance leader with strong interest in iGaming, digital marketing, media, we encourage you to apply.
