Job summary

Huddersfield Town Foundation is seeking a Finance Manager to lead day-to-day financial management, monthly management accounts and financial reporting. You will provide high-quality financial support to HTF staff, the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will coordinate financial returns to statutory bodies and funders, support governance through policy reviews, risk documentation and working practices, and help drive sustainable growth

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Manager will take responsibility for day-to-day financial management, monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and high-quality financial support to Huddersfield Town Foundation staff, the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. The role will also coordinate financial returns to statutory bodies and funding partners and support good governance through the review of relevant policies, risk documentation and working practices.

SALARY: £35,000 to £40,000 full-time equivalent, depending on experience and skills

WORKING PATTERN: Flexible – Full time and Part time options (the working pattern can be flexible, subject to the requirements of the role)

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: The Huddersfield Town Foundation, Leeds Road Sports Complex

An experienced and inclusive finance professional - someone with strong financial management experience, ideally within the charity sector - who can promote sound financial control and attention to detail, work collaboratively across the Foundation, and embed our Terrier Spirit values in everything they do.

The Board has ambitious plans, and we need a resilient, knowledgeable and values-led finance professional to provide the control, insight and support required to deliver our mission to empower OUR TOWN to thrive.

The post holder will be working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and providing timely information and constructive challenge to the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees to support the future direction and sustainability of the Foundation.
