Job summary

Huddersfield Town Foundation is seeking a Finance Manager in Huddersfield to oversee day-to-day financial management, monthly management accounts, and high-quality reporting for staff, the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees.

With a turnover of about £1.2m and a team of 22, the role supports governance, policy review and risk documentation while coordinating returns to statutory bodies and funding partners.

Qualifications

• An experienced and inclusive finance professional with strong financial management experience.
• Experience in the charity sector is ideal, with ability to promote financial control and attention to detail.
• Capable of working collaboratively across the Foundation and embedding Terrier Spirit values.

Finance Manager

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Manager will take responsibility for day-to-day financial management, monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and high-quality financial support to Huddersfield Town Foundation staff, the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. The role will also coordinate financial returns to statutory bodies and funding partners and support good governance through the review of relevant policies, risk documentation and working practices.
