Marks Sattin is partnering with a growing private equity-backed business to recruit a new Finance Manager.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this critical role ensures financial health and compliance while contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily financial operations, including transactional duties, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.
2. Prepare and monitor budgets, analyze financial data, provide recommendations, and develop financial forecasts to support business planning.
3. Generate financial reports and collaborate with the group finance team.
4. Deliver weekly and monthly reports to senior leadership.
5. Present insights and trends to senior management.
6. Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience working in an SME environment.
• Qualified or qualified by experience in ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
