Job summary

Appoint Consulting Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a fully office-based role in Grimsby. The successful candidate will own financial processes, deliver accurate reporting, support budgeting and analysis, and ensure smooth month-end and year-end activities, with NetSuite experience beneficial.

Ideal candidates will have ACA/ACCA or equivalent, and the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a hands-on finance environment within a luxury

Qualifications

• Experience using NetSuite within a finance environment would be beneficial.
• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Experience within retail or product-based environments is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Manage petty cash, expense claims, and corporate credit card reconciliations
• Support payroll processing and review payroll-related entries when required
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management accounts and cost centre P&L
• Support budget preparation, monitoring variances and highlighting issues to management
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
• Respond to finance queries

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established, family‑run luxury retail business. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, thrives in a hands‑on finance environment, and can bring strong technical ability alongside a calm, collaborative approach. Experience using NetSuite system is beneficial.

You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and analysis, and ensuring the smooth running of core finance processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities
