Job summary

Keycraft Global is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day finance function across our UK and US entities from Peterhead, UK. You will work closely with the CFO to strengthen controls, reporting and systems while guiding a busy finance team.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, multi‑company experience, and excellent financial insight for leadership. You will manage month-end, cash, tax, audits and improve NetSuite reporting and processes.

Qualifications

• A qualified or experienced accountant is desirable (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge in financial areas including management reporting, cash flow, tax and statutory requirements.
• Experience managing or supervising a finance team with ability to set priorities and keep deadlines.
• Experience in multi-company or international business, involving UK and US entities; NetSuite or similar ERP; inventory-based environment.
• Highly analytical and commercially aware with strong financial judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Organised, accountable and capable of owning deadlines, controls and issues.
• Confident communicator who can work with senior leaders across the business.
• Improvement-minded and adept at using systems and reporting tools to strengthen processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team with clear responsibilities and deadlines.
• Maintain strong financial controls and accounting processes across UK and US entities.
• Own the group month-end close, including management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Deliver accurate management reporting with clear variance commentary for leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and analysis to inform business decisions.
• Coordinate UK and US tax, statutory requirements and annual audits.
• Manage day-to-day cash flow, treasury, banking, payments and FX.
• Monitor receivables, payables and working capital across the group.
• Develop reports, dashboards and KPIs; improve NetSuite reporting and finance processes.
• Prepare board memos and financial updates for leadership meetings.
• Support Governance, Compliance, IT and HR where needed.

Finance Manager | Full Time Role | Peterhead, UK

We’re looking for a driven, hands-on Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day finance function across our growing UK and US companies.

This is a broad role with responsibility for financial controls, month-end and management reporting, cash and working capital, tax and statutory requirements, and the management of our finance team. Working closely with our CFO, you’ll make sure the fundamentals of the finance function run smoothly, while continuing to strengthen and improve our reporting and systems.

We’d especially love to hear from someone who is commercially minded and confident taking ownership of a busy finance function. This role involves getting into the detail, leading a team and improving processes, while being able to step back and provide clear financial insight to the CFO and wider business.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring clear responsibilities, priorities and deadlines.
• Maintain strong financial controls and accounting processes across the UK and US businesses.
• Own the group month-end close, including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Deliver accurate management reporting, investigating key variances and providing clear financial commentary to leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and analysis to help inform business decisions.
• Coordinate UK and US tax, statutory and regulatory requirements, and manage the annual audit and external adviser relationships.
• Manage day-to-day cash flow and treasury activity, including banking, payments, foreign currency and short-term cash forecasting.
• Monitor receivables, payables and working capital performance across the group.
• Ensure financial data is accurate and reliable, developing reports, dashboards and KPIs and working with the Business Systems team to improve NetSuite reporting and finance processes.
• Prepare board memos, financial updates and supporting papers for board and leadership meetings.
• Provide support across wider areas including Governance, Compliance, IT and HR.

A bit about you:

• A qualified or experienced accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is desirable.
