Job summary

Appoint Consulting Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a well-established, family-run business. You will own the finance function, deliver accurate reporting, support budgeting and analysis, and ensure core processes run smoothly in a hands-on environment.

Experience with NetSuite is beneficial. ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is expected, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Work with management, procurement and directors regarding budgets and forecasting.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Manage petty cash, expense claims, and corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Support payroll processing and review payroll-related entries when required.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management accounts and cost centre P&L.
• Support budget preparation, monitor variances and highlight issues to management.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Respond to finance queries.
