Base pay range

Group Finance Manager in Media | Central London | £70-£75k plus bonus

Exciting opportunity for a high caliber individual looking for a Finance Manager role in a leading Media & Entertainment organisation with a supportive culture and opportunity for progression.

My client is a leading media business who is looking for a Group Finance Manager to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic role for someone who is looking to develop their career within accounting at a market leading global business.

This role has a good mix of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder management.

This would be the perfect next step for a qualified accountant who is audit trained with 3+ years industry experience who is looking to take a step up.

Note: You must be available to start within the next month. This is a 12 month fixed term contract

The Role

As a key member of the finance team, this role is responsible for:

• Analysis and submission of weekly results to be presented to CFO
• Consolidation of group numbers and reporting
• Support ongoing reporting process improvement
• Cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations and bank reporting
• Ownership of actual, budget forecast process for the group
• Ensure strong internal control environment identifying weaknesses in controls
• Reporting and analysis on non-financial KPIs
• Manage and develop junior team members
• Business partnering with finance teams to ensure budget, forecast and variance analysis is accurate

You will regularly interact with senior management, meaning that stakeholder management skills and an affable personality are a must. This role requires a strong performer and somebody with the ambition and intellect to apply their own insights where possible and suggest improvements to existing processes.

Your Background

You are a qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualified experience. Ideally, you are audit trained with 2+ years experience within a comparable media organisation.

OR you are industry trained and have worked within management accounting roles at leading TMT businesses.

Location

Central London with hybrid working from home.
