Job summary

Cedar is partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed SaaS business to recruit a Finance Manager into a newly created role.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll lead a small team, own month-end close, balance sheet reviews, intercompany reconciliations and NetSuite improvements across multiple entities in a growing group.

This hands-on role offers broad exposure and the chance to shape financial processes as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong financial accounting and month-end close experience.
• Practical NetSuite experience would be beneficial.
• Hands-on candidate ready to supervise a small team and support day-to-day finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, preparing management accounts and draft statutory financial statements.
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and lease schedules.
• Managing multi-currency accounting, intercompany reconciliations and FX movements.
• Overseeing payroll processing and accounting, and supporting cash forecasting, payment runs and credit control.
• Maintaining financial controls, supporting audits and owning R&D reporting for the tax team.
• Improving NetSuite processes and reporting, alongside managing and developing the team.

With the business on a buy-and-build journey, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad finance remit and strengthen processes and controls as the group expands.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll lead a small team while remaining hands-on, delivering accurate and timely reporting across multiple group entities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, preparing management accounts and draft statutory financial statements.
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and lease schedules.
• Managing multi-currency accounting, intercompany reconciliations and FX movements.
