Job summary

Clearwater People Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the finance team, based onsite in the UK. The role focuses on financial reporting, controls, and stakeholder engagement with the UK and Group Boards.

You will manage month-end processes, statutory reporting, tax returns, and payroll, while overseeing cash flow, banking, and procurement finance activities. The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with at least five years of accounting

Qualifications

• Qualified accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an accounting environment.
• Experience managing a team.
• Strong Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly internal finance reports for UK Board and Group Board.
• Full monthly reconciliation of Sage and ERP system including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage monthly payroll preparation and submission.
• VAT returns, EC Sales Intrastat and other compliance.
• Cash flow management and banking administration.

Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their team. The Finance Manager will be responsible to manage the day to day operations of the Finance team.

This role will be based onsite.

Key Responsibilities for the Finance Manager

• Prepare and develop the monthly internal finance reports for the UK Board of Directors
• Prepare and develop the monthly finance reports for the Group Board of Directors
• Full monthly reconciliation of Sage and the ERP System including full balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and develop monthly budget analysis reports for cost centres and projects
• Prepare the annual year-end reconciliations
• Point of contact for year-end external audit process
• Prepare annual Statutory reports under UK GAAP and IFRS
• Prepare annual Corporation Tax Returns
• Accounts Production - analysis and variance reporting
• Management of Finance Department including Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Nominal Ledger
• Cash Flow Management and Reporting
• Banking Administration
• Letter of Credit and Trade Finance Management
• Management of Monthly Payroll preparation and submission
• VAT returns, EC Sales Intrastat and other compliance

Key Experience for the Finance Manager

• Fully Qualified Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an accounting environment
• Prior experience of managing individuals
• Possess a very good understanding of Excel
• Experience of dealing with clients at all levels
• Ability to manage & prioritise an extensive workload
