Job summary

The CFO HQ in Corby, UK is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day finance function across a SME, global supplier. You will produce monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets, and provide meaningful financial analysis to drive performance and profitability.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage cash flow forecasting, ledgers, payroll and year-end processes while mentoring a small finance team. Some international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of finance function for a SME business
• Excellent communicator with a friendly, confident manner
• ACCA or AAT Level 4 qualified, or qualified by experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day finance function
• Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and KPI reporting
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital
• Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll and credit control
• Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Support commercial decision-making through financial modelling and analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and efficiencies
• Partner with operational departments to drive profitability and cost control
• Manage year-end processes and support strategic business planning
• Motivate, lead and manage a small Finance Team
• Provide operational support to the business and management team
• Some international travel may be required
