Job Details

Bond Wellness Management, which supports Scarborough Village Physio & Chiro and Proactive Health & Performance, is looking for a Fractional Finance Manager to help us keep our growing clinics running smoothly. This is a professional, part-time role (15-20 hours per week) during business hours.

Responsibilities
  • Keep our books running clean and efficient in Xero: reconciliations, AP/AR, bank matching, and EMR (Jane & Juvonno) reconciliation.
  • Manage payroll through Wagepoint, including adjustments, ROEs, and helping staff with T4/T4A/T5 requests.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and claims (MVA/WSIB/IFHP), ensuring timely follow-up and collections.
  • Maintain and report on operational P&Ls, AR aging, and cash flow dashboards across clinics.
  • Standardize and enforce SOPs for finance processes (cashouts, receipts, reimbursements, petty cash, invoice intake).
  • Manage receipts digitally through Hubdoc.
  • Research and apply for government grants and assist with bank loan applications when needed.
  • Provide financial insights to leadership that highlight risks, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Support future growth by setting up scalable payroll, bookkeeping, and reporting processes for new clinics.
Requirements
  • Experience in payroll (Wagepoint required).
  • Strong bookkeeping background in AR/AP and reconciliations (Xero required).
  • Skilled in Google Sheets/Excel; Jane or Juvonno knowledge is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven.
  • Familiar with Hubdoc for receipt management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bonus: experience with government grants or bank loans.
