Brookside Group Practice is seeking a Finance Lead to join our forward-thinking team on a 24-hour-per-week basis with hybrid working in Reading.

The role focuses on coordinating and delivering the Practice and PCN finance function, maintaining accurate records, monitoring income and expenditure, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and delivering timely financial information to senior managers and the partnership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver the Practice and PCN finance function.
• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee core finance processes.
• Monitor income and expenditure; support budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide timely financial information to senior managers, the Finance Portfolio Partner, and the partnership.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversee contracts and renewals (utilities, insurance, services) and monitor usage to secure best value.
