Apollo Research is seeking a hands-on Finance professional to own financial operations, reporting, and compliance as the second full-time Finance hire, reporting to the Head of Finance. You will build the finance function from first principles, leveraging AI to automate manual work and scale with the business growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in a UK company.
• Experience building or rebuilding a finance function.
• Strong governance, reporting, and compliance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day financial operations (O2C and P2P).
• Run accounting and reporting (Record-to-Report).
• Prepare monthly close and reconciliations with detailed insights.
• Deliver cash visibility and forecast scenarios.
• Support building systems, processes, and controls with AI tooling.
