Job summary

Solve Intelligence, based in London, seeks a hands-on Financial Operations Lead to own finance end-to-end as the first dedicated finance hire. You’ll implement processes, tooling, budgets, and controls to scale to 100+ employees and ambitious revenue growth.

You’ll work directly with the founders, manage AP/AR, monthly close, and vendor negotiations, building a financial culture of discipline and speed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance at high-growth tech firms with hands-on FP&A/ops experience.
• Deep fluency in accounting and ability to run external accountants to close.
• Proven track record implementing finance processes, tooling, and automation.
• Strong modelling skills across budgets, forecasts, P&L, and cash.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; business partner mindset.

Responsibilities

• Payments (AP): manage supplier payments end-to-end and vendor negotiations.
• Billing & Collections (AR): invoice customers and keep cash flowing.
• The Monthly Close: coordinate with external accountants for timely close.
• Processes & Tooling: design/build finance stack with scalable tooling.
• Budgets & Financial Culture: work with founders on budgeting/approval processes.
• Vendor Negotiation & Cash: negotiate pricing/contracts; steward funds.
