Deliveroo is expanding its Finance Engineering team to build scalable, auditable automation for high-volume financial activities. You will shape the strategy for systems that translate transactions into accounting entries and accelerate the financial close, applying AI/ML to reconciliation and investigations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in product management, with strategy, vision and roadmap alignment.
• Experience building complex, back-end, data-intensive or platform products.
• Strong grasp of accounting concepts and how financial data flows in complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy and vision for accounting automation and the long-term roadmap.
• Translate billions of dollars in money movements into accurate accounting entries.
• Reinvent and accelerate the close process, reducing manual effort.
• Champion AI-driven approaches for reconciliation, investigations, and incident mitigation.
• Partner with FinEng, Accounting, and Finance leaders to translate regulatory requirements into scalable products.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, accountants, and operators.
