Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting in London to oversee day-to-day general ledger activities, drive robust controls and align with global processes. You will lead a small team, ensure accurate close cycles and partner with cross-functional leaders to support the fast-growing marketplace business.

The role requires extensive public company experience, strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and a relevant accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA). Hybrid work is offered in London.

Qualifications

• Extensive public company accounting experience and proven staff development.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB standards and SOX controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX controls.
• Coordinate full-cycle general ledger close and ensure robust financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements and automation across accounting operations.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Financial Reporting for monthly variance analysis and policy development.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to align with global processes.
