Deliveroo is seeking an Engineer for Accounting Infrastructure and Systems to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and data pipelines powering our accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting workflows. The role collaborates with Finance and Accounting teams to translate complex financial requirements into reliable, automated systems with auditability at scale.

Qualificações

• 3–4+ years of experience in software or data engineering and ownership of backend or data infrastructure projects.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and data engineering with hands-on experience in modern data stack tools.
• Ability to navigate the intersection of engineering and finance, including revenue recognition, reconciliation, and auditability.

Responsabilidades

• Take technical ownership of critical accounting infrastructure projects—design and build backend services, data pipelines, and integrations powering financial workflows at scale.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to translate financial requirements into auditable, automated systems.
• Shape the team's architecture and engineering practices, mentoring junior engineers and raising technical standards across the org.
