Fawkes & Reece Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior FP&A finance professional with strong construction sector experience to lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

The role focuses on CVRs, WIP, project margins, KPI monitoring, and statutory reporting, while driving improvements in controls, systems, and multi-entity treasury.

Applicants will demonstrate leadership of finance teams and ensure compliance with CIS and contract accounting standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead annual planning, budgeting, and rolling cash flow forecasting processes.
• Review contract Cost-Value Reconciliations (CVRs), work in progress (WIP), and project margins.
• Monitor financial performance through KPIs and operational reporting.
• Oversee statutory reporting, management accounts, and financial/audit compliance.
• Ensure adherence to construction-specific regulations, CIS (Construction Industry Scheme), and long-term contract accounting rules.
• Manage working capital, credit control, and treasury across multi-entity portfolios.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and project accounting teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance systems, controls, and reporting workflows.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead annual planning, budgeting, and rolling cash flow forecasting processes.

• Monitor financial performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational reporting.
• Oversee statutory reporting, management accounts, and financial/audit compliance.
• Ensure strict adherence to construction-specific regulations, tax requirements (such as CIS - Construction Industry Scheme in the UK), and long-term contract accounting rules.
• Manage working capital, credit control, and treasury/cash management across multi-entity portfolios.

Leadership & Systems

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and project accounting teams.
