Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Finance Data Manager to join the FP&A team. You will translate complex financial data into clear commercial insights and build scalable data tools using AI, reporting to the Group Performance and Analytics Lead.

You will work with SQL, Python, Looker and Anaplan, driving automation, forecasting and robust data pipelines to empower business decisions. This hybrid role offers UK-wide flexibility with occasional London office work.

Qualifications

• You have a solid grounding in SQL and preferably Python.
• You have experience using generative AI to produce data assets.
• Experience with data visualisation tools like Looker is a plus.
• Experience with Anaplan is a plus.
• Financial modelling, P&L management, and forecasting skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data Translation & Infrastructure: Translating financial and commercial requirements into scalable data assets and building downstream reporting functionality.
• Insights & Reporting: Preparing management information and delivering actionable insights.
• Automation & Process Improvement: Automating financial reporting processes and streamlining workflows.
• Stakeholder Management: Building relationships with stakeholders across the business.
