Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Finance and Creditors Administrator in Colwyn Bay on a temporary, hybrid basis. You will handle purchasing and creditor transactions, process invoices, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate supplier records.

The role requires attention to VAT compliance, strong IT skills, and ability to meet deadlines. You will join a collaborative team and support service levels while delivering accurate financial data.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or Customer Service.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant IT systems for information management.
• A keen eye for detail, strong organisational abilities, and a knack for meeting deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Execute transactional administrative tasks related to Purchasing and Creditors with accuracy and timeliness, adhering to legislation and organisational policies.
• Maintain and update records within designated IT systems, ensuring compliance and highlighting discrepancies when necessary.
• Review supplier statements and follow up on overdue invoices, ensuring correct budget codes are applied.
• Process invoices, ensuring VAT compliance and efficient handling of cash office services.
• Reconcile accounts and manage expenses while providing support for service level agreements and key performance indicators.
