Job summary

Aggreko seeks a Finance Manager – Financial Controls, Audit & RTR to strengthen our UKI & Events financial control environment. You will drive governance, ensure regulatory compliance and partner with multiple teams to deliver compliant, robust processes.

You are an ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with 5–10 years in accounting, controls or audit, comfortable with global ERP systems and transforming finance processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in a US-controlled environment with strong US GAAP & SOX knowledge.
• 5–10 years in accounting, controls, audit or finance leadership.
• Experience in statutory reporting, external audits, tax compliance, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen the financial controls framework across UKI & Events, ensuring policy, US GAAP, and SOX compliance.
• Coordinate DOA, SOD, journal approvals, SOX evidence collection and READ monitoring.
• Manage external audits under US GAAP; be primary contact between auditors and finance teams.
• Lead internal audit planning and support audit program execution.
• Ensure compliance with tax reporting and statutory filings.
• Review and enhance balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation controls.
