Job summary

Aggreko in the United Kingdom seeks a Finance Manager – Financial Controls, Audit & RTR to strengthen the financial control environment across UKI & Events. You will ensure regulatory compliance, support audits and drive governance excellence across regional teams.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance and professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with 5–10 years in controls, audit or finance leadership. A hybrid working model and broad exposure to global ERP platforms are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance and professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• 5–10 years in accounting, controls, audit or finance leadership.
• Experience in US GAAP, SOX and statutory reporting, audits and tax compliance.
• Knowledge of transfer pricing, WHT, treasury and cash management.
• Experience with global ERP systems and finance process transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial controls framework across UKI & Events, ensuring policy and SOX compliance.
• Support DOA/SOD, journal approvals, SOX evidence and READ monitoring.
• Coordinate group external audits under US GAAP; act as primary contact with auditors.
• Lead internal audit planning and program execution.
• Review balance sheet substantiation, reconciliation controls and action tracking.
• Drive process improvements and remediation across the control environment.
• Back-up Security Champion for financial data security and controls follow-up.
• Collaborate with Regions, Operations, Tax, Treasury and SSC to ensure consistent processes.
