Job summary

Curaleaf UK - Finance Team is seeking a detail‑oriented finance professional to strengthen financial controls, audit readiness, and management accounting. You will help design and implement finance systems, ensuring control integrity across the UK and Curaleaf International.

This is an individual contributor role alongside a collaborative team across multiple locations. You will partner with the Finance and Business Controls Manager, maintain documentation, support monthly/quarterly control

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or audit role.
• Confident user of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience supporting the preparation of management accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Discreet and responsible with confidential information.
• AAT Level 3 (or equivalent), or currently studying towards this qualification.
• Desirable: Familiarity with SOX, financial controls, or audit processes.
• Desirable: AAT Level 4 (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, uptodate documentation for finance processes and controls
• Execute monthly and quarterly control activities and retain supporting evidence
• Monitor control deadlines and follow up with colleagues to ensure timely completion
• Verify control effectiveness and record results
• Log identified issues and track progress through to resolution
• Provide information and documentation to auditors and the Group controls team
• Propose improvements to processes and controls
• Support colleagues across the business in understanding their control responsibilities
• Deliver additional finance support as required
