RECfinancial is working with an established business in Leicester/Leicestershire region to appoint a Financial Controller. The role reports to the Finance Director and oversees day-to-day finance, including management accounts, journals and reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow.

It requires a qualified accountant with strong business partnering skills and a track record of leading a finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CIMA, ACCA or ACA credentials.
• Experience as Financial Controller, Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant.

Responsabilités

• Oversee monthly management accounts, journals and reconciliations.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, cashflow management and financial reporting.
• Manage a small finance team and provide commercial analysis.
• Partner with leadership to review performance and drive process improvements.
