Job summary

Jacob Grey are exclusively partnered with a Woking based manufacturing SME to appoint a new Financial Controller/Head of Finance. This is an excellent opportunity to have a big impact on an already successful business heading into the next phase of it's growth.

Reporting to the MD and CFO your duties will include the day-to-day finance operations, running the finance department, and providing timely, accurate reporting while partnering with senior leaders on budgets and strategic decisions to

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with an exemplary track record in manufacturing finance.
• Strong commercial and analytical mind with ability to drive growth.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• IT savvy with strong Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations and run the finance department.
• Lead a team of 3 and provide timely, accurate reporting.
• Manage multi-entity £20m turnover and consolidate monthly management accounts.
• Partner with MD/CFO and Board on budgets, projects and cost analyses.
• Coordinate statutory year-end accounting and liaise with auditors.
• Develop forecasting models (3–5 year) and strengthen internal controls.
• Oversee AP/AR/credit control and cash flow forecasting.
• Drive process improvements and commercial finance initiatives.
