Job summary

Staffordshire County Council is inviting applications for an Apprentice Finance & Compliance Assistant in the Skills & Employability Team. You will process financial transactions, maintain learner records, and support contract administration.

This apprenticeship offers on-the-job training, requirements GCSE Maths and English at grade 4+, and the chance to complete the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship with Newcastle & Stafford College Group.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (Level 2) with grade 4+.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Processing of financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate learner records across various ICT systems.
• Support the Finance and Compliance Manager with contract administration and monitoring.
• Maintain and monitor paper and electronic records.
• Provide staff and external training providers with support, guidance and training as required.
