Job summary

Staffordshire County Council is offering an exciting two-year fixed term apprenticeship as an Apprentice Finance & Compliance Assistant within the Skills & Employability Team at Staffordshire Place. You’ll learn financial administration, record keeping, and contract monitoring while supporting the Finance and Compliance Manager.

The role requires Maths and English GCSE at grade 4 or above, good communication skills, and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent (Level 2) in Maths and English at Grade 4+.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Processing of financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate learner records across ICT systems.
• Support the Finance and Compliance Manager with contract administration and monitoring.
• Maintain and monitor paper and electronic records.
• Provide staff and external training providers with support and guidance.
