Role: Finance Business Systems Analyst (Oracle)

Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract – Maternity leave cover

Reporting to: Head of FBSS

Locations: York / Colchester / London / Lisbon – with Hybrid working

We seek an Oracle Finance Business Systems Specialist, ideally a part-qualified accountant, with strong technical expertise in Oracle modules such as General Ledger, Sub-Ledgers, FCCS, EPBCS, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, PCMCS, and MDM.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, support, and enhance Oracle ERP applications.
2. Gather and detail user requirements, translating them into Oracle Application designs.
3. Create and maintain documentation for implementations, support, and change requests.
4. Support Oracle tools in Finance, including form updates, UAT, reports, and chart of accounts.
5. Support EPBCS Forecast, Budget, and Long Range Planning processes from a systems perspective.
6. Assist in FCCS group consolidation processes.
7. Support working day timetable processes.
8. Establish best practices and train users on Oracle Report development and Smartview.
9. Perform data cleansing and auditing to ensure data quality.
10. Monitor change/ticket requests and system performance.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

1. Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud Solutions.
2. Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), with around 3 years of relevant experience.
3. Expertise in Oracle modules including General Ledger, Sub-Ledgers, FCCS, EPBCS, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, PCMCS, MDM.
4. Experience in systems administration/support, preferably in financial services.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong control mindset.
