Job summary

St Andrew's Healthcare in Northampton seeks a Finance Business Partner to support the Inpatients divisions. You will build strong stakeholder relationships and drive financial insights to inform strategic decisions.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting and project financials, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to policies while presenting to non-finance colleagues with clarity.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post-qualified experience in a Finance BP or similar role.
• Proven ability to work with budget holders and present financial information clearly.
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling is essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with budget holders to review, monitor and challenge monthly financial performance.
• Prepare and analyse divisional financial reports; provide timely, accurate information.
• Conduct monthly reviews with budget holders and provide constructive feedback.
• Support annual budget and forecasting processes, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Lead financial support for projects, including business cases, system setup and spend monitoring.
• Communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues and teams at all levels.
• Monitor adherence to accounting policies and propose amendments as needed.
• Prepare monthly internal management reports for the Finance Director and Executive Board.
• Prepare monthly covenant reporting and quarterly NHSE reporting.
• Deputise for other Finance Business Partners when required.
