University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is seeking a proactive Finance Business Partner (NHS AfC Band 8a) to join the Finance Team. This full-time role (37.5 hours) in Plymouth partners with operational and clinical leaders to shape services, drive performance and support outstanding patient care.

You will act as a trusted financial adviser, provide analysis of performance, support capacity planning and service transformation, and challenge budget holders to achieve objectives.

Qualifications

• CCAB/CIMA qualification required.
• Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build relationships with operational and clinical leaders.
• Experience turning complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience in financial modelling or capacity planning (desirable).

Responsabilités

• Act as a trusted financial adviser to operational and clinical leaders.
• Provide insightful analysis of financial and operational performance.
• Support activity, income and demand modelling for capacity planning.
• Challenge budget holders to achieve financial and operational objectives.
• Lead and support business cases, investment proposals and service transformation initiatives.
• Communicate financial information clearly to a range of audiences.
