Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting a Finance Business Partner (Project & Technical Accounting) to act as the financial advisor for project delivery teams in Rugby. You will oversee project revenue recognition, cost allocations, and technical accounting controls while modernising insights with Power BI.

The role focuses on strategic partnering, lifecycle financial management, and data-driven reporting to support decision making across operations within a contract framework.

Qualifications

• Strong grasp of US GAAP/IFRS, especially revenue recognition and project cost accounting.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-finance leaders.
• Expert-level Power BI and advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to project delivery teams, advising on margins, budgets, and risk.
• Lead performance reviews to interpret financial trends and identify margin improvement opportunities.
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for project performance and variance analysis.
