Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Senior Project Controller to drive financial governance and forecast accuracy on complex projects. You will partner with Project Managers to translate data into strategic insights, supporting cash discipline and timely reviews across the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, ERP experience, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams in an international environment. Remote working with Birmingham office as needed offers flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar.
• Strong Excel capability; SAP or similar ERP experience is an advantage.
• Experience in project or tender controlling in a project-based environment is beneficial.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support across the full project lifecycle (tender execution warranty), ensuring transparency and control.
• Partner with Project Managers on commercial and financial matters, translating data into clear insights and supporting decisions.
• Support profitability and cash performance by identifying risks and opportunities early and contributing to mitigation actions.
• Coordinate and prepare monthly project reviews and forecasts, ensuring reliable financial insight and consistency.
• Support financial processes including invoicing, cash collection, currency exposure tracking, bonds & guarantees, and tax alignment with relevant functions
