Job summary

The Arora Group is seeking a Management Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting for Buckinghamshire Golf Club and Luton Hoo Hotel during refurbishment. You will act as finance business partner to the General Managers, prepare monthly management accounts, perform analyses, and support controls and reporting across the sites from our Heathrow-based office.

Fully qualified ACA/ACCA, advanced Excel and strong stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA accountant.
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to analyse large datasets.
• Proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data review and detailed analysis.
• Organised, methodical with strong planning and time management.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills with stakeholders.
• Proactive, takes initiative and seeks process improvements.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assume full accounting responsibility for Buckinghamshire Golf Club and Luton Hoo Hotel.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and provide value-adding analysis.
• Develop understanding of business operations and financial drivers.
• Maintain accounting records per group policies.
• Monitor risk and strengthen controls.
• Own monthly management accounts preparation.
• Prepare narrative and present results to senior teams.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure support for balances.
• Prepare VAT returns and other statutory submissions.
• Oversee AR, AP and deferred income processes.
• Manage weekly cash flow forecasts and working capital.
• Support annual budgets and forecasts.
• Support year-end audit and statutory accounts process.
• Provide training and guidance to finance and operations teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
• Maintain oversight of fixed assets, cash reporting and payroll controls.
