Job summary

An international hotel group is seeking a Regional Financial Controller to oversee a portfolio of London hotels. The role combines financial control with business partnering, owning reporting, forecasting and governance across the portfolio while collaborating with General Managers and Regional Operations to boost revenue, productivity and profitability.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, with experience as a Financial Controller, Regional Finance lead or Finance Business Partner,

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or actively studying towards a qualification.
• Experience as Financial Controller, Cluster Financial Controller, Regional Finance lead or Finance Business Partner.
• Hospitality, leisure or multi-site experience preferred.
• Confident in challenging and influencing senior operational stakeholders.
• Proven track record of improving financial performance.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, reporting tools and hotel PMS.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior finance partner for the portfolio, supporting operational and commercial decisions.
• Provide analysis and challenge on revenue, profitability and ROI.
• Support business cases and growth initiatives.
• Lead management accounts, budgeting and forecasting across the portfolio.
• Deliver accurate, timely management information.
• Track KPIs, trends and benchmarks to identify risks and opportunities.
• Hold hotel teams accountable for financial performance.
• Work with leadership on revenue, labour productivity and profitability.
• Present performance and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Turn financial data into practical actions for operations.
• Maintain financial controls and governance across the portfolio.
• Support audits and risk management.
• Lead and develop a regional finance team; improve processes across the portfolio.
