Job summary

The Boden Group is seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide commercial financial support across contract operations in the West Midlands. You will partner with contract managers and operational teams to deliver insight, forecasting and analysis to improve profitability and strengthen financial controls.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role.
• Experience in facilities management or contract-based services.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting systems experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to challenge and influence decisions.
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or part-qualified with relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP and business intelligence tools is advantageous.

• Monitor revenue, costs, profitability and cash flow across contract operations.
• Analyse performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Deliver monthly forecasting and support the Annual Operating Plan.
• Identify cost reductions, efficiencies and opportunities to improve contract profitability.
• Maintain strong financial controls, governance and audit compliance.

About You

To be successful as the Finance Business Partner, you'll have:

• Experience as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or similar finance professional.
• Essential: Experience within facilities management or another contract-based service environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with advanced budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using financial reporting systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and influence decisions.
• Ideally, ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualified, part-qualified or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Experience with large-scale contracts, ERP systems such as SAP, and business intelligence tools would be advantageous.
