Job summary

Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join the Finance Team at the A30 Business Centre, Okehampton. You will work in a small team, preparing budgets and advising on financial implications.

The role involves managing school PSF records, monitoring expenditure against budgets, and supporting Principals, budget holders and Trustees to secure best outcomes for our diverse Trust.

Qualifications

• To prepare budgets with team.
• Be responsible for the various school financial records held on PSF.
• To advise Principals, budget holders and the Trustees of financial implications of developments, proposal etc by preparing costing and obtaining estimates.
• To oversee and monitor expenditure against budget and advise the Finance Business Manager of any variation from budget.

An exciting opportunity to work as a Finance Business Partner within the Finance Team at Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust. This role is working in a small team based at the A30 Business Centre, Okehampton.

Our Trust comprises of 19 schools, 3 Colleges, 15 Primaries, and one All Through SEMH Special school. Established in 2018. We are situated in beautiful Devon on the out the outskirts of the stunning Dartmoor National Park. The schools vary in size and are all unique. Our schools are a large part of their local communities, and we value those relationships with families and locals.

The role will be based at the A30 Business Park, Okehampton, but it is expected there will be occasional travel to other Trust educational settings and offices.

  The successful candidate will be required to come to DMAT Central Offices to complete mandatory training.

  Training Details:

  Location: Central Head Office, A30 Business Park, Okehampton, EX20 1BG

  Purpose: To provide comprehensive training on company policies, procedures, and systems necessary for successful integration into the role.

  Training Schedule: Daily sessions from 9am to 4pm, with breaks provided.
