A leading company in the insurance sector is seeking a Finance Business Partner to manage expenses and collaborate on key projects within their Intermediary Personal Lines business. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, relevant qualifications, and excellent analytical skills. This position offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including generous holidays and pension contributions.
We’re looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner with strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset. In this role, you’ll work across multiple areas—partnering on expenses, supporting key projects, and driving performance within our Intermediary Personal Lines business.
If you enjoy working with people, solving problems, and influencing decisions, this could be your next great opportunity.
A bit about the job:
As the Finance Business Partner for Intermediary Personal Lines, you’ll be the trusted advisor for all expense-related matters—both business-as-usual and project-based. That’s means collaborating with cost centre owners, the People function, and senior leaders to manage and forecast expenses.
Alongside this you will lead the expense planning cycle and support the performance management of the Partnership business.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong financial understanding of expenses. Ideally, a good understanding of the General Insurance P&L, although for the right candidate, this could be an area of development in the role.
Background of commercially focused finance roles, with FP&A and business partnering experience preferred, alongside a proven ability to manage, challenge, and influence senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making and business performance.
Has or is working towards a relevant accounting qualification e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent. Qualification by experience also considered.
Knowledge and familiarity with financial modelling and analytical tools, as well as Excel and PowerPoint.
