Finance Business Partner | South Manchester | Hybrid Working | £55,000 + Bonus | Travel

Job Overview:

Axon Moore are delighted to be working alongside a market-leading business, looking to grow their finance team with the addition of a Finance Business Partner.

The Finance Business Partner will hold a broad set of responsibilities, encompassing commercial finance and team management, and will play a key role in continuously developing MI with a strong appetite for incorporating Power BI.

This role is ideally suited to a Qualified Accountant who currently holds an FBP role and is looking to build a strong skillset in people management and Power BI.

Salary: £55,000 + bonus

Location: South Manchester with hybrid working 3 days a week in the office.

Main Duties:

• Finance Business partner with key stakeholders in the team, including the Commercial division, to assist with decision making and strategic planning.
• Management of the financial close process to include Management Accounts and variance analysis.
• Lead the production of insightful financial analysis including KPI tracking, to support the SLT to make informed business decisions.
• Take ownership of certain commercial reporting requirements for the SLT.
• Develop financial models to support departmental projects.
• Manage the production of the annual financial planning model, working closely with the SLT.
• Produce analysis of cost and revenue models.
• Support the Financial Controller in the management of a small team.
• KPI reporting, including scenario modelling and management reporting.

Person Specification:

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant.
• Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI being desirable.
• Experience working in a fast paced, and ever-changing business is essential.
• Excellent experience in development processes and controls.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
• Strong problem solving.
