Job Opportunity: Finance Business Partner

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner within the children's and education services sector, working within local government. This role is initially for 6 months with a pay rate of up to £550 per day.

Job Specification

Business Partnering

1. Guiding managers through Budgeting & Planning processes.
2. Applying knowledge of financial procedures to identify issues and determine the correct resolution routes.
3. Calculating and reconciling staff budgets back to establishments.
4. Preparing DMT reports.
5. Knowledge of SEN and High Needs is desirable.

General Accounting

1. Monitoring relevant grants, ensuring correct accounting, and resolving Oracle-related queries.
2. Preparing budget virements.
3. Ensuring monthly recharge journals are accurate and loaded timely.
4. Setting up new cost centres, distribution sets, and memo lines in Oracle.
5. Managing or assisting with the annual budget load exercise.
