Job summary

Talk Staff Group Limited in Leeds is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its finance team. This is a commercially focused role where you will influence business performance through financial insight and close collaboration with senior stakeholders.

You will move beyond traditional reporting, contribute to business planning and profitability initiatives, and play an active part in improving financial and operational performance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience as a Finance Business Partner or in a commercially focused finance role.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to communicate key business drivers.
• Experience analysing financial information and translating it into commercial insight.
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and providing constructive challenge.
• Forecasting, financial modelling and business planning experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work across a complex organisation and build cross-team relationships.
• Proactive, commercially minded and service-focused.
• Experience in professional services or similar complex environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation
• Providing insightful analysis of financial performance and KPIs
• Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and commercial performance
• Supporting working capital performance including billing, WIP and debt management
• Providing financial modelling and analysis to support forecasting and business planning
• Supporting pricing decisions, tenders, profitability reviews and business cases
• Producing clear financial and commercial commentary to support decision-making
• Supporting and delivering finance projects, process improvements and systems developments
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders across a complex organisation
• Providing constructive financial challenge and helping stakeholders understand the commercial impact of decisions

Job description

A well-established organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its Leeds-based finance team.

This is a commercially focused opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and using financial insight to influence business performance and decision-making.

This role offers the opportunity to move beyond traditional financial reporting and play a genuine part in supporting commercial decision-making.

You will have exposure to senior stakeholders, contribute to business planning and profitability initiatives, and play an active role in improving financial and operational performance.

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience working as a Finance Business Partner or in a commercially focused finance position
• Strong commercial awareness & an ability to understand & communicate key business drivers
• Experience analysing financial information & translating it into meaningful commercial insight
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders & providing constructive challenge
• Experience with forecasting, financial modelling & business planning
• Strong communication, presentation & stakeholder management skills
• The ability to work effectively within a complex organisation & build relationships across different teams
• A proactive, commercially minded & service-focused approach
• Experience within professional services or another complex commercial environment would be advantageous!

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Working Hours are Full Time, Monday - Friday
