Finatal is partnering with a Private equity backed Environmental Services organisation in the search for an Finance Business Partner. Following a period of investment the firm is growing its finance function and looking to hire a commercially focused finance professional to support strategic decision making across the business.

Acting as a critical bridge between Finance and the wider business, this role enables informed decision-making, safeguards financial integrity, and supports the achievement of the firm’s value creation goals.

Business Partnering & Strategy

• Partner with business leaders to deliver financial strategies aligned to company objectives.
• Provide financial insight to support decision-making, performance improvement, and profitability.
• Influence key decisions through data-driven analysis and commercial challenge.
• Build financial understanding and accountability across the business.

Reporting & Performance Management

• Produce monthly management reports, dashboards, and performance insights.
• Monitor KPIs, highlighting risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and data.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve margins, and enhance efficiency.
• Support investment and business decisions through financial evaluation and ROI analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen business performance.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and address audit recommendations.
• Promote strong governance, risk management, and financial controls.
