Job summary

JSS in Hertfordshire is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support a major programme of finance transformation, projects and growth. You’ll provide financial insight and challenge across major programmes, helping the business improve margins and maximise value from change.

You will partner with transformation and project leads, own forecasting, reporting and benefits tracking, and present clear management information to senior leadership to drive robust commercial

Qualifications

• Commercially focused with strong financial analysis and business partnering skills.
• Comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and influencing decisions with financial insight.
• Experience in FP&A with modelling, forecasting and analytical capability.

Responsibilities

• Partner with transformation and project leaders to drive value creation and operational efficiency.
• Provide financial oversight of transformation initiatives, including costs, benefits and risks.
• Identify, validate and track synergy and value creation opportunities from integration and transformation.
• Challenge business cases and investment proposals to ensure robust commercial decision-making.
• Own management reporting, tracking EBITDA, capex and synergies.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, reporting and financial analysis for transformation activity.
• Produce clear management information and commercial insight for senior leadership.
• Represent finance in project meetings, providing constructive challenge and financial expertise.
• Work across Finance, Operations and Projects to strengthen accountability and delivery.
• Improve reporting and benefits tracking through data, visualization, and automation.

Working closely with senior finance, operational stakeholders, you’ll provide financial insight and challenge across major programmes, helping the business improve margins, deliver synergies and maximise the financial benefits of change.

Finance Business Partner

• Partner with transformation and project leaders to drive value creation, margin improvement and operational efficiency.
• Provide financial oversight of transformation initiatives, including costs, benefits, synergies, risks and investment.
• Identify, validate and track synergy and value creation opportunities arising from integration and transformation activity.
• Challenge business cases, assumptions and investment proposals to ensure robust commercial decision-making.
• Own key management reporting, tracking measures including EBITDA, capex and synergies.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, reporting and financial analysis, ensuring transformation activity is reflected within business forecasts.
• Produce clear management information and commercial insight for senior leadership.
• Represent finance management team in project meetings, providing constructive challenge and financial expertise.
• Work collaboratively across Finance, Operations and Projects to strengthen accountability and successful programme delivery.
• Improve reporting and benefits tracking through better use of data, visualisation and automation.
